NBA 2K24 Shaq Build

Published on:

NBA 2K24 has released and with it comes the whirlwind of builds as players try to put together their dream MyPlayer to dominate the league. As always, the builder is somewhat restrictive when it comes to replicating real life stars so you can’t build your own Victor Wembanyama or Michael Jordan but you can take a crack at imitating them. In this Shaq build I will be putting together the best possible replica of Shaq that the game allows despite the limitations on speed and replicating his defensive/finishing abilities.

NBA 2K24 Shaq Build Guide

Body Settings

Height: 7’1″

Weight: 290

Wingspan: 7’10”

290 is the max allowed by the current settings so we’re already off to a “we’re doing our best” start as Shaq’s weight on his own player card is much higher.

Finishing

Close Shot: 86

Driving Layup: 60

Driving Dunk: 70

Standing Dunk: 99

Post Control: 84

Shooting

Mid Range: 55

Three Point: 25

Free Throw: 55

Some of these can’t be lowered any more or they begin to impact the Shot Close rating which has to remain high to get higher level badges so there’s no chance of saving points by lowering these.

Playmaking

Pass Accuracy: 47

Ball Handle: 40

Speed with Ball: 40

Defense/Rebounding

interior Defense: 78

Perimeter: 37

Steal: 27

Block: 90

Offensive Rebound: 86

Defensive: 85

Physical

Speed: 49

Acceleration: 37

Strength: 84

Vertical: 70

Stamina: 93

Speed and Acceleration are maxed out but the height and weight of the build severely limits them, this can be made up by bumping vertical and strength but can’t replicate the abilities of Shaq himself.
