Brotato Brawler Build
Character Type
The brawler is a fascinating archetype but one of the less complex we’ll see in Brotato. Its biggest selling point is gaining +50% attack speed when using unarmed weapons. This means you can, if done right, become a fists of fury-style killer.
It loses 50 in range and 50 in ranged damage so there’s really no point in utilising either skill. Finally, you get +15% dodge which improves close combat and 1 fist which can be turned into a hand for added Harvesting potential.
Upgrades
Unsurprisingly, the brawler’s main point of focus will be melee damage and Max HP. Max HP ensures you don’t succumb to larger hordes and tougher enemies while melee damage should be fairly self explanatory given your attack speed and lack of ranged offense.
Other stats to focus on are Attack Speed, Damage, Crit Chance, and Life Drain. The only ones to totally ignore are the ranged and technology stat as none of those will help the brawler build in any way.
Weapons
Considering you only get the 50% attack speed boost with unarmed weapons those will be your preferred avenue here. You can largely focus on combining and levelling up the fists to make them stronger and add to your melee abilities.
There is no major preference with regards to items on this build and any weapons that don’t have the unarmed label may not be of much use to you so your entire focus can go to levelling up your fists.
Unlocks
Beating the game with the brawler build will unlock the Power Fist 3. This is a strong weapon that has 40 damage, decent critical hit chance, knockback, very short cooldown, and a 25% chance to explode on impact which can deal added damage.
