While Owusu-Oduro has the better potential, Verbruggen is the safer option. His potential, regardless of the RNG in your save, is massive and he’s guaranteed to be an excellent goalkeeper either way. Your only trouble may come from prying him away from Brighton.
Guillaume Restes
A wonderkid in every send of the word, this 18-year-old for Toulouse has survived the Winter Update and remains a high-potential goalkeeper. He can be just as good as Verbruggen and will likely come cheaper due to his age and the fact he’s playing in Ligue 1.
Dennis Seimen
A carryover from FM23 the young Stuttgart man retains his high ceiling through another update. At this stage, no list of the best goalkeeper wonderkids is complete without him. He is just 17 so will need time to develop but he will be easy to get as he is stuck in Stuttgart’s B-team with no way to raise his reputation or value until he’s called up.
Tjark Ernst
