How to Get

First thing is first you have to make sure you can actually obtain the water wheel, if you haven’t already then you’ll have to get the water wheel’s blueprint. To do this head to the river and look out for fragments of a water wheel and scan them.

How to Use

It can be used to generate electricity by being placed in water, to ensure that you’re actually harnessing this energy though, you will have to connect it to a generator. The only potential issue is that you could have the generator too far from the wheel and the flow won’t really work so make sure there’s an area for the generator near where you place the wheel.

As a rule of thumb, a basic water wheel can power two basic generators at most. Better generators may have higher demands, however, and the wheel won’t be able to keep up with both at once.
