Best Young Left Backs to Sign in FM23 Winter Update
This teenager is a natural wing-back currently playing for Udinese. His crossing stat is a bit lower than you may like from a creative player but his pace and defensive strength makes him an instant-impact player.
Another Serie A man as Perisi plays for Empoli right now. The 21-year-old is similar to Udogie in that he’s got pace but isn’t an amazing crosser just yet. His dribbling skills will certainly help out further up the pitch but he will need time to round out his game.
At 19 years of age Netz has the distinct advantage of being a threat from set pieces. He has a starting corners rating of 15 which should help your team add some goals from corners. Like the other two parts of this best young left backs list his crossing is at a 13 but his pace makes up for it.
The player who will require the most patience but can emerge as a bargain. Lanza is 19 and currently playing in Brazil but he has all the raw attributes to become a top-tier left back. His conditioning especially will need improvement if he is to see out games but everything else is solid.
If you’re looking for something different at the left-back spot then Vazquez is the one for you. While the other players seem built to bomb down the wing and join the attack, the Valencia man is more comfortable on the ball and can take part in a tiki-taka style of play with relative ease.
