Wonderkid XI in FM23

GK – Dennis Seimen

Currently playing for the second team of German side Stuttgart. Seimen is a teenager who has the potential to become one of the best goalkeepers in the entire game. He starts off with a relatively low reputation and low attributes but he has a gold-standard potential that will go higher the more you play him.

LB – Alejandro Balde

One of the many prized possessions of Barcelona’s youth academy Balde operates as a left back, left midfielder, or left wing back. He is difficult to prise away from the Catalan giants but he is the total package as a wonderkid left-back

CB – Benoit Badiashile

Hot off a move to Chelsea Badiashile has proven his mettle as one of the best young defenders in the world. he is comfortable on the ball, tall, fast, and can defend quite well.

CB – El Chadaille Bitshiabu

PSG have a wealth of youngsters coming through their academy right now, one of these names is El Chadaille Bitshiabu who is going somewhat under the radar at the French club. He is a left-footed defender who is pretty solid at everything already, which makes him the perfect CB partner in this Wonderkid XI.

RB – Ivan Fresenda

Fresenda was subject to a lot of interest in January from Premier League side Arsenal but ultimately stayed put in Spain. Arsenal’s loss can be your gain in Football manager 23 with the defender still available for a modest fee.

DM – Stefan Bajcetic

Liverpool youngster Bajcetic has had himself a bit of a breakout season having impressed in the squad’s midfield. In our set-up his skills will be utilised as a ball-advancing DM to make the most of his passing and dribbling skillset.

DM – Alex Scott

Alex Scott will no doubt be on the move this Summer as he has impressed in the Championship for Bristol City. He is available in FM 23 for a relatively cheap fee given he has an incredibly high ceiling and prospers into one of the top players in the game.

AML – Crysencio Summerville

Summerville can operate on either the left or right of an attacking midfield trio. The pacey wide-man will tear defences to shreds with his natural speed and high dribbling stats. Building around this wonderkid as one of your main pillars of offence is sure to end well.

AM – Joao Veloso

Veloso is a bargain that can be picked up from Benfica. He tends to operate as a central midfielder but has the capability of playing as a number 10, which is where I believe he will flourish. His biggest skill is his creativity so unleashing this at the 10 spot with great wingers and a strong striker ahead of him will lead to assist after assist.

AMR – Alejandro Garnacho

Most people are familiar with Garnacho and his ability by now. The Manchester United player has impressed any time he has been given an opportunity. His attacking spark makes him an excellent choice for this Wonderkid XI and what’s even better is he can operate on either wing meaning he and Summerville can be alternated as needed to confuse defenders and take advantage of mismatches.

ST – Evan Ferguson

Brighton & Hove Albion have done it again and unearthed a gem. Irish striker Ferguson is a lethal in-the-box goalscorer from day one and at just 17 years of age, he could lead the line for your club for over a decade.
