Goal Machines in FM23

Robert Lewandowski

The Barcelona man remains one of the best strikers in all of Football Manager. While his 500 million release clause is nothing short of ridiculous, he will be a difference-maker to those playing as Barcelona.

Kylian Mbappe

As anyone who saw him tear Poland apart knows, Mbappe is the truth. Anyone taking over PSG for a save is sure to have fun with this generational front man leading the line. Anyone else will have to watch on with envy.

Karim Benzema

The Ballon d’Or winner remains one of Football Manager’s top goal machines. Even at 34, his finishing and first touch are incredible. After years of impressive play with Real Madrid, he has finally been recognised as one of the best in the world.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane is one of the best finishers in Football Manager 2023. He is also an excellent penalty taker which means he will rack up goals as the season goes on provided you create chances for him.

Erling Haaland

This is an entry that’s sure to be different next year. Despite his mind-blowing goalscoring record at Borussia Dortmund, nobody could have seen his transition to Manchester kicking off so well. Haaland is scoring goals at never-before-seen rates on the pitch which will no doubt be fully reflected in FM24. Nevertheless, he is an elite-tier goalscorer in this year’s edition of the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo

While he may be nearing 40, there’s no denying Ronaldo’s ability to put the ball into the net. In FM23, there are few more consistent presences up front than the Portuguese legend.

Lautaro Martinez

The 24-year-old Inter man has gained a reputation as a proven goalscorer. Picking him up in FM can be the difference between title wins and the runner-up spot. His age also makes him a great acquisition as he can become a focal point of the attack for many years to come.

Youssef En-Nesyri

The Sevilla man is a lethal finisher in FM games. What gives him an added benefit is his ability to score long shots which adds a handful of goals every season. He is one of the few goal machines that is feasibly available and would make a great addition to most teams.

Moise Kean

Moise Kean is only 22 but shows all the promise of becoming a high level striker. His strength, pace, dribbling, and finishing are all at a high level. With some development Kean will become a very reliable striker with the ability to score for fun.

Moussa Dembele

An FM cheat code for some time, Moussa Dembele is one of the finest goal machines in Football Manager 2023. He tends to be on the market for a lot less than his cohorts but scores just as much in just about every save.
