Kylian Mbappe & Sam Kerr Unveiled as FIFA 23 Cover Stars

FIFA 23 is coming soon and to kick off the hype for this year’s game the cover stars were announced on EA’s social media. The FIFA 23 cover stars are Kylian Mbappe and Sam Kerr, two of football’s most prolific strikers at the top level.

The French megastar was on the cover of FIFA 22 and after being the subject of a tussle between two of Europe’s top clubs this year has been brought back to star on the cover of FIFA 23. The Paris Saint-Germain player is one of the best players in all of football and is still just 23 years old.

Women’s football gets a representative on the cover this year and there are few players more deserving than Sam Kerr. The Chelsea Women’s player blazed a trail in her native Australia and America before making her way to the Women’s Super League and firing Chelsea to success.

The 28-year-old has some of the most impressive numbers in football with 61 goals in 78 games to her name at Chelsea as well as 59 in 110 International caps.

Kerr is one of the most recognizable faces in women’s football thanks to her world-class striking ability making her an excellent choice to partner with the prolific Mbappe as the FIFA 23 cover stars.

With the push for women’s football gaining steam in recent years, it is great to see EA Sports recognize some of the games finest on one of the most recognizable video games in the world. Let’s hope this can manifest as some added interest in the women’s game
