Roblox Says Over 70,000 Games Are Developed With AI Assistance

While disclosing its earnings report, Roblox mentioned that more than 70,000 games have been developed with AI since the alpha launch of Build.

Roblox recently shared its Q3 2026 financial results. It took to its official X account to share the news with the community.

In that earnings report, it mentioned that more than 80% of its top 100 games (these are based on hours played) used AI to help with game creation.

Among Roblox creators, time spent using AI tools has tripled since the second quarter of 2026. As of October this year, the platform has close to 138 million daily active users. This is a 12% quarter-over-quarter increase.

Despite the hesitation about AI introduction in game building among popular names in the gaming industry, it seems Roblox is open to AI assistance for game development.

Since the alpha launch of Build, the prompt-to- game AI creation tool, there have been over 500,000 users already leveraging the tool for game creation. The number is expected to increase steadily in the future.

What Roblox Games Are Created With AI?

There are quite a few models that are being widely used by creators for game creation. And it’s not like the games developed using AI are ranked low.

In fact, there are two games that are made almost entirely with AI, and they have managed to break into the top 20 rankings (based on concurrent players). These games are:

  • Break and Steal an Egg (over 289 million visits)
  • Huss Valley (over 217 million visits)

As per Roblox’s recent announcement, there are more than 70,000 games that have leveraged AI for creation. However, the complete list hasn’t been shared officially.

While many believe popular games like Grow a Garden 2 have used AI assistance for development, as of now, nothing has been confirmed.

The introduction of the Build tool brings a massive change. It certainly paves the way for anyone who has great game ideas but lacks programming or modeling skills.

On the other hand, it also opens the door for repetitive and low-effort games that lack depth and freshness. How Roblox manages this new AI-creation initiative will be interesting to see.
