This Servant of the Lake true ending guide will explain how to unveil all the secrets lying within this game to get the best possible ending. As a point-and-click adventure, much of the game relies on the player’s intuition to uncover what the game has hidden, which is why I’ll be coming in to help just a little as these can occasionally leave players stumped. Servant of the Lake True Ending Walkthrough
Once you’ve completed the base game you unlock the ability to go back through select scenes to replay them. You’ll have to make use of this in order to make a run at the true ending.
At the ending screen, there’ll be a new letter from Kate mentioning a crow and a timing. Replay the scene Wake Up Aldous and change the clock to 4:05 to get another letter.
Replay Helping with Bathing, go to the wall tile and click Bathtub, Suitcase, Hand, Alexandra to get a new note with information.
Next go back to Assisting with Alchemy and find the box with the left and right arrows. You’ll have to escape a maze that you can try and play yourself but if you don’t want to then the pathway is:
Right, Right, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Right, Left.
Go back to Searching the Attic and find the puzzle with the constellations. Under the castle place the three lines, under the moon but the straight line, and under the waves put the triangle.
Go to Dressing for Dinner and proceed down the basement to find the box at the wine. Rotate the lines until they match what is presented in the previous note’s clue. While there, look for a shelf with bottles, place the bronze one over the air/wind swirl, the silver over the curvy line next to it, then the gold goes over the triangle with a line.
Go look for the open barrel and crawl to the secret room, there’s a shelf with a red thing at the top to click until a new note falls out. This tells you that the code for the box is in the window of the portrait upstairs, if you look it is in the eyeball of the hunting scene, or the number of the symbol in the alchemy scene. The code for those who don’t want to look is 6294.
Take the telescope and go to the window outside the dining room. Use the telescope and move it up to the top of the right hand side and you’ll have finished the true ending.
