The well in question has some bars blocking the entrance but there is an option to ‘Put Goods Inside’. This is a prompt that should make clear that you have to put the right thing inside the well and it’ll do something…except most people don’t know what that right thing is.
There is one clue as to what you have to do but it is inside the well itself as there is a drawing with coin imagery around it. To make a long story short, the Mysterious Well can be opened by placing 666 gold inside it, yes a very specific number. Once you’ve put that in, the well should open and you’ll be able to explore the wonders that lie beneath the surface.
