Desktop Explorer Puzzle 3 Walkthrough

We will discuss the process of solving this puzzle but you can skip right to the end if you just want the password.

The file has some hints that lead the player to an elephant. The phrase “I garden the flowers with my hose, wouldn’t you know it, I use my nose” should connect the dots that this puzzle is about an elephant and the trunk is the key to the solution.

That isn’t the only clue contained within the text and the next one is the one that most players miss. “They say you can resize the window to your mind” is a subtle way of telling the player that they can resize the windows on screen to their desired size. This is another hint to help solve the third puzzle as it requires resizing the window the Elephant is found on.

Open Wide Papyrus Strip and resize the window until you see the elephant’s outline and the lettering in the trunk will read ELEPHAS. This is the password for the solution.
