This Outbound resources guide will detail how to find food, crafting material, and some raw materials in the game. As a cozy exploration title, there is a lot to find and do in the game so that’s where I come in to cut down on some time looking for the things you need. Outbound is a newly released indie game that has base-building ideas in a cozy gaming package, it has been reviewed positively by players over on Steam.

Outbound Resources Walkthrough – Food, Crafting Material & More
- Amberstone – Biome 3. Mine from orange rocks located around the cliffs
- Amber Morel – Biome 1. Forage from the ground
- Bamboo – Biome 2. Found in crates near the waterfall
- Bananas – Biome 2. Located on banana trees, usually along the coastline
- Beeswax – Biomes 2 & 3. Harvest them from storage boxes, Biome 2 has some in the flower fields one is in Biome 3 at a bonsai tree
- Bottlecaps – Biome 1. Found scattered near places humans would frequent
- Carrots – Biome 1. Found along the ground, some at the Sunbeam Acres Farmhouse
- Clay – Biome 3. Clay deposits near cliffs
- Cloth – Biome 2. Found in crates and can be crafted
- Coarse Ore – Biome 1. Must have Pickaxe 2, found in mountainous spots and a cave
- Coastberries – Biome 2. Found near Everwood and Redwood trees, dark green shrubs in colour
- Coconut – Biome 2. Found on the ground by Palm Trees, along the coastline
- Corn – Biome 3. South of the drawbridge harvested from corn stalks
- Cotton – Biomes 2 & 3. Harvested from crops, Heartmoor and the border of biome 2/3 has some
- Dog Treats – Biome 2. Found around the wilderness
- Dragon Fruit – Biome 3. Harvest from Dragon Fruit plants, found near the Research centre
- Durafibre – Biome 2. Must have Sickle 2 to harvest from the bushes, Found in grasslands and forests
- Everwood – Biomes 1 & 2. Sometimes scattered on ground, otherwise chop up logs. Found on Everwood trees
- Fibre – Biome 1. Harvested from shrubs with red leaves, found in wooded areas or open fields
- Flower Petals – Biomes 1 & 2
- Ginger – Biome 1. Forage on ground, near mountains and the Community Tree
- Golden Bolete – Biome 3. Forage on ground in the northeast of biome 3 where many mushrooms of this type are located
- Grain – Biome 1. Must have sickle, Windpower fields have crops. Some storage boxes around campsites have it too
- Honey – Biome 2 & 3. At same hives as Beeswax
- Indigocaps – Biome 1. Forange on the ground near Outpost Outlook
- Lavender – Biome 2. Lavender flowers can be dark blue or indigo, usually around the bridge in the south-east
- Litter – Biomes 1 & 2. Found scattered where humans would frequent
- Metal – Found in orange storage boxes or crafted
- Mossrock – Biomes 1 & 2. Must have Pickaxe 2. Found in a cave to the south or along the moutains and hills in 2.
- Natural Rubber – Biome 2. Found from taps on trees, silvery trees.
- Onyx Minerals – Biome 2. Orange storage boxes, can also be crafted
- Processed Rubber – Found in stoage boxes, or made from natural rubber
- Raw Coffee Beans – Biome 2. Harvest from Coffee farm
- Red Ore – Biomes 2 & 3. Found in biome 2 caves in boxes, ore deposits at the biome 3 cliffs
- Redwood – Biome 2. Requires Axe 3, found beside redwoods in Biome 2
- Roadberries – Biome 1. Forage from green bushes near Everwood trees, noted by the blue colour of the berries
- Roasted Coffee Beans – Biome 2. Inside sacks at the Coffee Farm or in storage boxes around Biome 2.
- Rocks – Biome 1. Found at mountainous areas, usually near boulders and bigger rocks.
- Rough Stuffing – Biomes 1 & 2. Harvested from reeds, found along the edges of water sources
- Scrap Metal – Biomes 1 & 2. Dark hunks found scattered near signal towers or vehicles or solar panels
- Sea Shell – Biome 2. Found on sandy beaches
- Sheet Metal – Biome 2. Found in orange storage boxes or crafted
- Silverbark Wood – Biome 1. Requires Axe 2 on Silverbark logs. Found deep in biome 1 where grass gets gold/dry looking
- Sunshrooms – Biome 2. Found in the forest south of the charging station
- Water – Biomes 1 & 2. Scattered around in water bottles near places people would frequent. Can also be collected from wells in Biome 1.
- Wild Tomato – Biomes 2 & 3. Storage boxes in 2 have some tomatoes while biome 3 has the plants scattered through the map
