In this article I will be discussing the South Park Snow Day Switch performance. The series has been ported to the Nintendo Switch for the two previous South Park games so you’d expect Snow Day to make a relatively smooth transition. With the new game releasing on Steam to some very mixed reviews, eyebrows are raised about a port to the Nintendo Switch.

South Park Snow Day Switch Performance
As of the base game, not including any future updates, the performance on Switch is quite poor. There are times where the combat can feel genuinely unresponsive with the input delay on the handheld console.
There are some technical gaffs that can rear their heads and cause problems, especially during boss fights. This isn’t helped by the occasional visual issue or framerate drop leading to some truly aggravating gameplay problems.
The audio mixing has received some bad reviews even on the Steam version so that might be an issue across all versions, but it is noticeable on the Nintendo Switch that there’s some syncing and audio problems.
Sadly, this version will need some updating to fix as it is currently in a state unfit of this series’ high quality predecessors.
