F1 23 Qatar Setup Walkthrough

Circuit

The Qatar track is an interesting one as it has no major point of emphasis. Some tracks have an abundance of straight-line speed sections, some have harsh turns, Qatar almost tries to mix the two which means a balanced approach is often best here.

Aerodynamics

Keep a balanced aero setting. Too much downforce will see you lose seconds on turns without much chance to make them up while sacrificing top speed will see you fall behind on the other straights.

Transmission

Keep this balanced as well. Going too hard in either direction won’t offer much benefit.

Suspension Geometry

Use a higher camber angle to make the most of fast turns. With tyre wear being less of an issue you can go harder on the tyres than usual.

Use a stiff suspension setup to make the most of this flat track. You’re unlikely to be bumped for being too stiff like other tracks with raised turns.
