Silver Pines Endings Walkthrough
Leaving
The basic ending and the most likely one to get sees the player leave the situation behind to escape. To do this, beat the final boss and save. Then go to meet Eddie Velvet, when prompted choose to kill Eddie Velvet.
This will play a scene before showing the player outside Miner Diner, answer the ringing phone and enter your car to achieve this ending. This ending unlocks a Switchblade.
Living
This ending requires taking some different decisions than the Leave ending. Namely that after defeating the boss and finding Eddie Velvet, you choose to spare him. Walk downtown after sparing him, click on the ladder by the wrecked car and speak to the person there.
Travel to the outskirts to find the Burnt Man (Drew) by the coast. Speak to Drew until he mentions placing mementos into the furnace, enter the shack and interact with the furnace. Confirm your desire to burn everything to prompt this ending. This ending WILL NOT be available unless you have all 25 Mementos, Drew will never mention the Furnace in that instance.
This ending unlocks an Omega Rifle for you to use.
Resting (True Ending?)
The most complex ending available, and by proxy the one deemed to be the “true ending” of the game, this one involves thoroughness and decision-making that this guide will help with. This ending also involves sparing the life of Eddie Velvet.
Return downtown after sparing his life and go left to find Alice’s body in the water, interact to get a gold ring. Head to the Miner Diner restroom and find a second gold ring inside the locked box on the sink. Opening this box requires finding 5 stars.
The five star locations are:
- Rabbit Hole near the middle of the bar
- Crimson Bear Hotel inside Bungalow 3
- Quiet Hour Cafe by the wounded cowboy
- Thelend Exterior at the top of the mountain speak to the girl with the yellow coat
- Downtown Caravan after obtaining the five cable car bells, dig by the hole and find this star
With the two rings now obtained you have to return to the Rabbit Hole, go behind the bar and into the stage, insert the Gold Rings into the wall with the two ring-shaped openings. Speak to the people inside before completing an additional boss fight.
Leave through the available exit door to complete this rest ending and finish the most complex ending of all. The Resting ending unlocks a Reusable Repair Kit.
The Last Word
There are three available endings in Silver Pines. They all have achievements and unlocks tied to them so completionists will likelt go for all three but for any in search of a Silver Pines true ending, the resting ending is the most complete of them all with an extra boss fight and more discoveries to be made than the other endings.
