Paper Lantern Bug Walkthrough for Palia

To catch the Paper Lantern Bug you will need to go searching at the correct times. It is found between 6pm and 3am along the coast of the Bahari Bay. It stands out due to its bright glow and is a common bug to find.

You can specifically look in Proudhorn Pass, Thorny Thicket, The Outskirts, Flooded Steps, Statue Garden, Beachcomber Cave, Lighthouse Lagoon, and the Coral Shores.

They move slow enough that you can line up your shots and hit the area with some smoke bombs to make catching them a little bit easier.

A caught Lantern Bug will net you anywhere between 16 and 24 gold which given their common spawn rate makes them useful for getting some quick money. They are not to be confused for Glowbug’s which have a greenish hue to their light and are found in the southern parts of Bahari Bay.
