This Death Must Die build will focus on Merris and making it as strong as possible. There is some luck needed with getting the correct god and finding good equipment but this will give you the outline of great build in Death Must Die. Death Must Die is currently in early access on Steam but has garnered very positive reviews.

Death Must Die Build for Merris


The number one perk to use for Merris is the Sign of the Timespace. This provides the character with infinite pull range and a big dash cooldown, which negates the slow speed it tends to move at.

God & Blessings

Mort is once again the god we want to aim for the most. Master Ravens of Pestilence, Master Lightning Orbs, Master Blades. and Master Necromancy are the blessings to get to make this build hit at its best.


Items which can improve experience gain should be the main aim with Merris while the feet specifically should get a movement increase buff as Merris’ main drawback is slow movement.

Items like the Wise Sandals of Haste, Divine Shirt of Revision, and a weapon with a strong DPS are the ways to go.
