This Death Must Die build will focus on Nixi and making her as strong as possible. There is some luck needed with getting the correct god and finding good equipment but this will give you the outline of great build in Death Must Die. Death Must Die is currently in early access on Steam but has garnered very positive reviews.

Death Must Die Build – OP Nixi The Assassin
Character Strengths
Nizi the Assassin is a unit with good melee skills as well as decent AoE meaning you can deal close-range and medium-range damage with Nizi’s attacks. Being an assassin, this unit is quite mobile and shifty, although the key weakness is a low defence.
God & Blessings
It is imperative that the god you obtain early on is Mort, Daughter of Death. The build is reliant on this specific god. If you reach the first boss and haven’t encountered Mort then consider restarting until you get Mort.
When you’ve got Mort you’ll want to take some of these blessings: Mayhem, Soulstealers, Ravens of Pestilence, and Malady
Stats
Focus on improving things like attack speed and spawn damage. Attacking more will lead to a greater chance of Soulstealers activating and adding some more phantoms to your side.
The increase in spawn damage then transfers to the phantoms as well as the ravens summoned by the Ravens of Pestilence blessing. With this blessing and stat combo, you’ll be a two-pronged attack that leaves enemies laying.
