Slay the Princess Endings Guide for Each Ending
There are a total of 6 different credit roll endings in the game. Each one requires following a different path:
- Save Everyone: Follow the spectre route and accept the narrator’s reward. You will kill the princess immediately before rejecting the hero’s voice questioning the morality of this.
- Cabin: If you walk away from the cabin every time you’re prompted then you’ll get a distinct ending as the Shifting Mound never received a vessel.
- Become as Gods: Accept the Shifting Mound’s offer to become gods together by telling her you want to go ahead and awaken.
- Slay the Princess: Refuse the shifting mound and select any option containing (Slay the Princess). The Voice of the Hero will take you to her heart where you must choose to slay her one final time.
- Reset Everything: Refuse the shifting mound but instead of selecting options to (Slay the Princess) just oppose her instead. Take the knife and instead of killing, decide to sit with her. This will reset everything back to chapter 1 as she kills you after you go along with her plan to reset.
- Leave: Don’t pick up the knife when the Voice of the Hero takes you to her. Sit with her and talk.
