To gain the ability to play multiplayer/coop you have to complete the tutorial for Endless Dungeon. This will teach you the basics of the game and its mix of mechanics. If you have completed the tutorial and don’t know what to do next stay tuned for the next paragraph. If you have not completed the tutorial then do so now.

Once you’ve completed the tutorial go back to the main menu. Here you’ll notice a difference. The menu now has an option for Co-Op play which initially wasn’t there. Head into this menu and it will allow you to host a room where you can invite friends to play alongside you.

So to sum up. In order to play multiplayer/coop in Endless Dungeon you have to complete the tutorial mission before exiting to the main menu and setting up a room via a new option.
