Best Jack Build in Brotato

Character Type

Jack is quite the distinct character. It provides a 50% damage boost against bosses and elite enemies, meaning it can take down the tougher enemies easily. Where things get weird is it changes the game so you only face 25% of the enemies in a round that you’d normally face, this is offset slightly by the 200% boost to material drops from enemies.

It also makes enemies difficult to beat by boosting their HP by 250%. All in all, it is one of the weirder character archetypes in the game and it only comes equipped with a laser gun which has a lengthy cooldown.

Let’s see what we can do to put together the best Jack build to help you succeed with this one.

Weapons

Ranged weapons are the ideal for this character as fewer enemies mean you can pick them off before they become a problem. It’s unlikely you will ever be overwhelmed by a hoard and need close combat abilities so sticking with range is the best way to go.

Upgrades

Life Regeneration, Armor and Max HP boosts will help round out the Jack Build. Since there are fewer enemies your other skills likely won’t come into play so having a great defense for taking on bosses and elites should be the end goal.

You can, if desired, use a Gentle Alien item to spawn some enemies which will in turn drop more materials for you but that should really only be done if you’re confident.

Unlocks

Successfully playing as Jack will unlock a Giant Belt which increases the effect of critical hits against enemies, with a smaller boost against elites and bosses. Not an amazing equip but one that could come in handy with a high-crit build.
