One recent hitch that the game has suffered from is the revelation that it will require a constant internet connection, even if you’re playing solo. We’ve seen such moves made in recent years in titles like NBA 2K where the MyPlayer moe requires an internet connection.
When this news was revealed for Payday 3, some fans went as far as to cancel their pre-orders of the game as it can be frustrating to keep a consistent internet connection, especially if the game or console needs updating.

New Features
There is the ability for cross-play and cross-progression with Payday 3, you do have to register at a website to pull it off but the option is there which should come in handy for some players.
There have been some tweaks made to the overall gameplay with stealth being built upon and combat being improved with weapons upgrading pairing well with an improved skill tree.
There has also been a change made to difficulty scaling with enemies being made better in ways other than just massive health boosts. Actually improving the accuracy of enemies on higher difficulties is something we will see from Payday 3, a system that has worked well in shooters for some time now.
Payday 3 Release Date
Payday 3 is releasing on Steam for PC and on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S on September 21, 2023. There has been a long wait for this title since Payday 2 was released back in 2013 for the last-gen consoles the Xbox 360 and PS3. After 10 years the series is back with what is sure to be a kickass game.
