How to Unlock Characters – Darkest Dungeon 2

How Does it Work

To unlock more characters you have to play the game more. Sounds pretty simple right, the goal is to acquire Candles of Hope throughout your time playing the game, these can then be used at the Altar of Hope by spreading thee candles out at the Living City.

Once you’ve laid out enough candles to unlock a specific character you just have to proceed to the crossroads and you’ll have a new character archetype available to use.

Once you have every character unlocked you will be able to pick from the following classes:

  • Highwayman
  • Man-At-Arms
  • Grave Robber
  • Plague Doctor
  • Hellion
  • Runaway
  • Jester
  • Leper
  • Occultist
  • Vestal
  • Bounty Hunter

And that is all for this guide on how to unlock characters in Darkest Dungeon 2. If we have left anything out be sure to let us know. Also chime in and let us know what other content you want to see for DD2.
