Archer – Alchemist, Thief, Tinkerer
Brute – Blacksmith, Cook, Miner,
Ranger – Alchemist, Thief, Tinkerer
Sworsman – Blacksmith, Cook, Miner
Warrior – Blacksmith, Cook, Miner
Each profession comes with its own stat buffs but some units fit professions better than others. The professions without a recommended class are Angler and Scholar which can be used for pretty much anyone.
Profession Boosts
Alchemist – Boosts dexterity
Angler – Improves Willpower and Critical Hit
Blacksmith – Boosts strength
Cook – improvise constitution
Miner – Improves constitution and strength
Scholar – Boosts willpower
Thief – Boosts dexterity and critical hit
