Planet Zoo will receive a Europe expansion pack. The expansion will bring five new animals from Europe to the zoo simulator game. The expansion will go live on Steam on December 14th.
Planet Zoo Europe Pack Hits Steam December 14th
The expansion comes from game developer Frontier Developments. The expansion will hit Steam at a price of £7.99 / $9.99 / €9.99.
The five new animals that will be added to the game are the Eurasian Lynx, the Alpine Ibex, the European Badger, the European Fallow Deer, and the Fire Salamander.
A winter scenery will provide players the opportunity to transform their zoos to fit the current time of year. The scenery was inspired by European destinations, such as France, Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Players will be able to add a variety of decorative styles, lighting, and foliage to make their zoos pop with holiday spirit.
The Planet Zoo Europe Pack also includes a new timed scenario. Players will be challenged to expand and improve a picturesque mountainside zoo while up against the clock.
In addition to the expansion, a free base-game update will bring a new twist to the base game. This update includes burrowing, animal memorials, customizable restaurants, and more.
Please note the Planet Zoo: Europe Pack requires the Planet Zoo base game in order to download and play. Planet Zoo is available now on Steam with an RRP of £34.99 / $44.99 / €44.99, Planet Zoo Deluxe Edition RRP for £42.99 / $54.99 / €54.99 or the Planet Zoo Deluxe Upgrade Pack for £9.99 / $11.99 / €11.99.
Planet Zoo is developed by Frontier Developments. Other games in their portfolio include Jurassic World Evolution (2018), Planet Coaster (2016), and Zoo Tycoon (2013). Planet Zoo was first released in November of 2019 exclusively for PC.
