As if those weekly updates that have transformed Pywel for the better weren’t enough, Pearl Abyss has just announced its first Community Challenge Event, with an all-expense-paid trip to its Korea-based HQ as the prize for victory. Crimson Desert Wants You To Go Beyond The Abyss
A New Challenge For You Greymanes
The contest is a simple one, and all you need to do is keep enjoying your time in Pywel as you’ve been doing since this one hit the shelves. Only, you’re just going to have to capture a video of your best moments in the game. You could choose to do a short-form one that should be under a minute in length, which should be more than enough to show off some fancy combat moves or perhaps your time with one or more of the new mounts. A long-form submission should fall between one to three minutes, which is more than enough time to absolutely rip a boss to shreds if you know what you’re doing. The Rematch feature should come in handy with that.

However, don’t let our suggestions stop you from getting as creative as you can be, as the aforementioned prize is going to be awarded to just ten of you once Pearl Abyss makes up its mind and announces the winners of August 2, 2026. You need to send in your submissions by July 12, 2026. It’s going to pick six short-form entries and four long-form ones.
Where do you upload your submissions? All you have to do is head on over to your personal social media or YouTube channels, upload your video with the hashtags #CrimsonDesert and #BeyondTheAbyss, ensure it’s publicly visible, and then send in the link you get here. Aside from that visit to Pearl Abyss, you stand to win some merch, and a commemorative golden coin for your efforts.
That’s about it. It’s time to dive into Pywel and show off your best work. May the best Greymanes win!
