FM26 Goalkeeper Wonderkids Winter Update List – Best Young Goalkeepers to Sign

Ferran Quetglas

In the original database, Ferran Quetglas was one of a number of goalkeeping wonderkids but following the big data update, he is now the far-and-away number one of the starting group. The Real Madrid youngster has likely benefited from Madrid getting a whole host of young players with strong potential in the latest update. He is 20 years old so he will need to make a step up sometime soon but he’s still the strongest young goalkeeper in the winter update.

Kerem Matisli

Bursaspor keeper Kerem Matisli has taken a jump in the past few months, going from a fringe bargain option to one of the top five young shot-stoppers in the game. He has been the number one for his team in the lower division and has earned some acclaim for his performances with so much pressure at a young age.

Quenten Attigah

One of the few to stay at a higher level, AZ Alkmaar goalkeeper Quenten Attigah has slowly been raising his profile with the SI devs, going from a secondary option to a sought-after talent who any manager should sign. He could be a talent you can pick up easily depending on how your save progresses as he could grow unhappy sitting behind Rome-Jayden in the pecking order.

Alessandro Nunziante

Another one to stay in the conversation for the top young goalkeepers is Udinese regular Alessandro Nunziante. He was picked up by the Italian side over the summer so he may not be eligible for a transfer in year one but he could be a good pickup from your second season onward as his potential is pretty high even if he’s not in the top three on this list.

Tommaso Martinelli

Tommaso Martinelli has gone on loan to Sampdoria in Serie B to get himself some regular football and could be looked at as one of the future saviours of a floundering Fiorentina side. Italy has been blessed in FM26 with some really strong goalkeeping prospects with Martinelli one of the elite talents with a high potential.
