Dark Deity 2 Class Tips

Gale

A fairly weak unit that has low strength, low dodge, and relies on Stormborn to make it a useful class. Gale needs a lot of support to be useful but ultimately won’t prove very effective.

Conduit

The Conduit has solid range and the Defibrillator skill to make it a bit of a double threat. It’s main effectiveness will be in the ranged attacks and the Chain Lightning ability.

Frigillan

Frigillan is able to use ice both for attacking output and defensive output, it can survive enemy attacks while also boasting a strong weapon type. It isn’t a perfect class thanks to some lower skills but this is still a useful one to play as.

Monk

Mostly an OP class. Can defend, has decent fortitude stat, has speed, and even has strength. It can basically be an all around threat which makes it an absolute must-have.

Quickdraw

Useful offensive unit with a chance to get double-hits. It doesn’t have many debuffs which means a tactical opponent can outmatch this class but if used correctly it can be a real killer.

Tamer

The Tamer comes with one real thing to plan around, it is a slow unit. The trade-off is it is an absolute monster when it lands an attack, capable of dealing a lot of damage to enemies

Cutthroat

Cutthroat has strength as well as speed, making it an interesting alternative to the Tamer class. The Licky Lasso ability is almost too good which makes this one of the better classes to use.

Ranger

Ranger’s can use Axe’s and have enough defence and fortitude to stand at the front line. There’s some strong skills on offer as well making the Ranger a very useful class.

Juggernaut

The Juggernaut is one of the best support classes to have. It can heal very well but can hold its own if needed in combat, making it a less fragile choice for a healer.

Waveseer

Only offers added attacking range but doesn’t have defensive stats to make that worthwhile.

Elementalist

A strong class which doesn’t offer much by the way of defence. It is a class that can wipe out enemies using elemental attacks but shouldn’t be left alone to take hits as it isn’t much of a damage sponge. Useful if planned around.

Ritualist

It’s ok, can debuff and do ranged damage but doesn’t offer a lot when compared to an Elementalist or the Waveseer.

Geomancer

Geomancer’s are interesting, they’re also healers but have added movement skills, allowing you to make moves that other units couldn’t make. It can take out enemies but that requires an ability that can leave you prone to counters.

Warlock

Can debuff enemies in groups which is an interesting wrinkle but has a similar issue to Geomancer’s who are left prone when on the attack.

Devoted

Ultimately can’t deal enough damage to be useful, it can buff and debuff but doesn’t deal enough damage to be worthwhile.

Nightblade

Nightblade isn’t exactly a warrior of the night but it might as well be, it can dodge a LOT of enemy attacks which doesn’t go for most units. It doesn’t have great strength which is one negative aspect but it has enough strengths to make the class useful.

Seeker

A range unit that has decent attacking output when fully charged but won’t seperate from the pack of other ranged classes.

Gallant

Gallant is another interesting class that provides buffs to your units and boosts critical chances while being solid enough to survive some enemy attacks.
