Skills offer a wide range of buffs that can make all of the difference in this game which is chock full of different mechanics. Chef RPG is in early access but that didn’t stop it from charting on Steam and getting good reviews from players who are enjoying the RPG, Life-Sim style game.

  • Army Regiment – +20% Damage with spears: Requires 2 SP, I Work Out, 3 Endurance, 3 Gathering
  • Bookworm – Might discover new recipes when reading library books: Requires 2SP, 3 Cooking
  • Brewing – Can acquire brewing machines and brew your own alcohol ingredients. Must complete La Sequoia’s grand opening before learning this skill: Requires 2 SP, 3 Cooking, 3 Gathering
  • Cartographer – Harvesting natural ingredients will now reveal their location on the map. +400% experience gain from discovering new ingredient sources: Requires 4 SP, 4 Social, 5 Cooking, 5 Gathering
  • Celebrity Chef – Reputation occasionally attracts celebrity guests, these give special items when successfully served: Requires 8 Cooking, 4 SP, 5 Social, Happiness Comes First
  • Eagle-Eyed Shopper – Higher chance recipes appear in shops & can now be in vending machines: Requires 3 SP, 6 Social, Friendly Neighbour Salesman
  • Explorer – Your knowledge of the land allows you to fast travel to home: Requires 1 SP
  • Farming – Can now use greenhouses and harvest your own ingredients. Must unlock greenhouse to get this skill: Requires 3 Gathering, Forest Citizen, 2 SP
  • Force of Artemis – Spear and Bow attacks have a 15% chance of tripling damage and slowing enemies: Requires 5 SP, 6 Endurance, 10 Gathering, Army Regiment
  • Forest Citizen – Increased chance of collecting plant roots and extra ingredients when harvesting wild plants: Requires 2 Sp, 3 Gathering
  • Friendly Neighbor – Relationships grow 15% quicker: Requires 1 SP
  • Gourmet Gastronomy – Allows you to open a second research facility: Requires 4 SP, Bookworm, Research Facilities, 7 Cooking
  • Hands-On Approach – Chance to discover recipes when user is cooking during restaurant service, Chances increase as the user cooks more dishes: Requires 3 SP, Bookworm, Vending Maniac, 5 Cooking
  • Happiness Comes First – You cannot identify happiness and patience levels of customers: Requires 3 SP, 5 Social, 2 Cooking, Friendly Neighbour
  • Herbalist – Can see growth stages of farmed plants, +20% ingredient yield from farm: Requires 2 SP, 2 Cooking, 5 Gathering, Bookworm
  • Home Cook – +5% Dish quality when user is cooking: Requires 1 SP
  • I Work Out – +10% Max HP & Endurance: Requires 1 SP
  • King of the Kitchen – 10% staff work speed, +5 Dish quality of staff chefs: Requires 6 Cooking, 5 Social, Recruiter, 2 SP
  • Line Cook – +15% Cooking speed when user is cooking: Requires 2 Cooking, 1 SP
  • Magnate – +30% revenue from restaurant dishes: Requires 10 Social, Eagle-Eyed Shopper, 5 SP
  • Marathon Veteran – -30% energy loss: Requires 5 Endurance, I Work Out, 3 SP
  • Material Seeker – Animals have a chance of dropping material items, harvesting plants and clearing farm patches will yield more roots: Requires 4 SP, Forest Citizen, 8 Gathering
  • Motivator – Staff energy drains 50% slower, brewed tea and coffee effectiveness doubles on staff members: Requires 4 SP, 3 Cooking, 8 Social, Staff Training, Happiness Comes First
  • Oceaneer – Special fishing spots will appear with Giant Fish, these Giant Fish have unique treasures: Requires 3 SP, Explorer, 5 Gathering
  • Party Planner – Host private events in your restaurant: Requires 2 SP, Friendly Neighbor, 7 Social
  • Professional Decorator – View Decor values of all furniture and total value for restaurant, +25% decor value to furniture: Requires 3 SP
  • Ranger – Identify wild animals and potential drops, can get closer to animals without alerting them: Requires 3 SP, 4 Gathering, Explorer, 3 Endurance
  • Recruiter – Epic Level Chefs and Waiters become available, 8 slots available instead of 4: Requires 3 SP, Staff Training, 5 Social, 5 Cooking
  • Research Facilities – Unlock cooking research facilities: Requires 3 SP, Home Cook, Bookworm, 4 Cooking
  • Resourceful Hunter – Chance for wildlife to drop drop equipment or recipes: Requires 3 SP, 6 Gathering, 3 Endurance
  • Salesman – 10% cheaper prices: Requires 2 SP, 3 Social
  • Secret Admirer – Friends can give you gifts: Requires Friendly Neighbor, 2 Social, 2 SP
  • Spartan – Once per day, health and energy automatically replenish if either falls below 15%: Requires 10 Endurance, Thermal Skin, Marathon Veteran, 5 SP
  • Staff Training – Hired staff will improve skills over time: Requires 2 SP, 3 Gathering, 3 Cooking, 3 Social
  • Supply Chain – Becoming friends with shopkeepers allows you to schedule deliveries, must complete Le Sequoia’s grand opening first: Requires 3 SP, Friendly Neighbor, 5 Social, 5 Cooking
  • Thermal Skin – Full resistance to heat – Requires 3 SP, Thick Skin, 7 Endurance
  • Thick Skin – +15% damage resistance – Requires 2 SP, 2 Endurance
  • Treasure Hunter – Treasure troves with unique rewards can be found on beaches and caves: Requires 3 SP, Explorer, 4 Gathering, 5 Endurance
  • True Gourmet – +10% Dish quality for all user dishes and removes quality limit. Attracts Legendary staff: Requires 10 Cooking, 5 Social, Gourmet Gastronomy, Recruiter, 5 SP
  • Vending Maniac – You can purchase vending machine around town and sell your own consumables and ingredients over time: Requires 3 SP, Salesman, 3 Social
