F1 24 Azerbaijan Setup Walkthrough
Track Characteristics
Baku is a notoriously tough street circuit. It has slow zone, harsh turns for the majority of the track with the Turn 16 through the end of lap stretch being memorably tough. There’s even one turn that’s just wide enough for a car to turn which is guaranteed to take at least one car per race.
Tuning the car to deal with turns will make this a successful race for anyone taking it on.
Aerodynamics
A front wing aero of 35 and rear wing of 20 will keep your car loose enough to turn while keeping it stuck to the track.
Transmission
Engine Braking at 40 will be enough with on throttle differential of 60 and Off throttle differential of 40, this should provide a useful balance of stability when accelerating on corners.
Suspension Geometry
Lowest Camber angles as usual for this one, the front goes to -3.5 and the rear goes to -2.2. Front and rear toe of 0.0 is also useful.
Suspension
The following Suspension settings are the best ones for this track, stick to these and you’ll be doing well:
Front Suspension: 34
Rear Suspension: 7
Front Anti-Roll Bar: 15
Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 12
Front Ride Height: 22
Rear Ride Height: 55
The softer rear suspension will enable you to navigate the kerbs while the stiff front suspension keeps the front of the car as responsive as possible. The Anti-Roll settings should be firm but loose enough to move and navigate turns.
Brakes
95 Brake pressure with 55 bias is the established meta for braking and it will work for this track.
Tyre Pressure
The front tyres can have lower pressure with 22.5 on the left and 23.5 on the right. The rear two can both be set to 26.5.
