On 11th June, Sony held a PS5 reveal event and as part of the announced a number of games coming to the console. Here Last Word on Gaming will take you through all the games announced just in case you missed any. We will also endeavour to give you an indication of the release date wherever possible.
We saw big-name titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn which will receive a sequel. It looks fantastic in all honesty. As does Ghostwire: Tokyo which will come out on the PS5 in 2021.
The first look at a sports game on the PS5 came in the form of NBA 2K21. In what was a rather fan-pleasing event designed primarily to show off the ability of the PS5 this was a highlight for sports fans.
As part of the event, Sony also announced a fair few more indie games. Such as Goodbye Volcano High. It was a shame to still some PS5 exclusive games announced as part this event. With the console wars beginning to thaw over many had hoped that this would see much less exclusive titles coming out.
However, this does not seem to be the case. Coupled with a refusal from both Sony and Microsoft to reveal a price or a release date it seems that the battle between the two is far from coming to an end.
