Silvally attack, stats, and more

Silvally is a stage 1 (evolves from Type: Null) Normal-type Pokemon with 110 HP. At first glance, it may just be a stable stage 1 Pokemon, but its attack makes it a standout among the other stage 1 Pokemon in the game.

Silvally has the Brave Buddies attack which costs two Colorless Energies. It deals 50 plus damage but does 50 more if Silvally’s user played a Supporter card from their hand during the last turn. This attack is not just cost efficient, but the damage Silvally could deal can be maxed out, especially since Pokemon TCG Pocket only allows 20 cards in each player’s decks which increases the chances of playing a Supporter card for almost every turn.

Silvally’s one Energy Retreat Cost is also beneficial in switching out its user’s Pokemon, especially if the active Silvally already has a handful of damage on it.

Best cards to play with Silvally

Gladion

Gladion should always be maxed out in your deck since it can directly call and play a Type: Null or Silvally straight from your deck. This card instantly sets-up your main offensive strategy, so always aim to play it as early as possible if you still do not have either Type: Null or Silvally in the field.

Oricorio

As cute as it may look, but Oricorio is a wall of defense. Its Ability known as Safeguard prevents any damage done to it by the opponent’s Pokemon EX. Oricorio can stall for a couple of rounds to build-up the Energy required for Silvally, making them go-to and scary combo in the process.

Pichu

Pichu’s Crackly Toss attack doesn’t require an Energy to be used, but it can put an Energy to one of its user’s Benched Pokemon. This is great to fuel Silvally’s Energy cost much faster while being able to synergize well with Oricorio since Pichu is also an Electric-type Pokemon.

Best Silvally deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket

Silvally/Oricorio/Pichu

As mentioned, Silvally works well with cards like Oricorio and Pichu. This is some sort of an anti-meta deck since most top decks are mainly composed of Pokemon EX. There is a great sense of offense and defense in this deck. Just keep in mind to properly switch out your Active Pokemon since Oricorio’s HP is relatively low and can be taken out by non-Pokemon EX. But once you are able to master this deck, it can bring you to the highest ranks.
