Knights in Tight Spaces Steam Deck Performance Analysis
Knights in Tight Spaces falls into the same issue a lot of games do on the Steam Deck with some text being too small to read. This difficulty will be familiar to any Deck owner, especially if you’ve played unoptimised games. It thankfully isn’t a huge issue with most of the small text being smaller, missable stuff while most important text is big enough.
The game runs to the full Deck screen and is optimised for that resolution meaning there’s no stretching or black bars. It is also fully compatible with the joypad control scheme.
The battery life is decent, the console can get slightly hot when running this game but it will still keep you going for 4+ hours with this title, which is a lot more than some games.
There’s very few crashes reported and visual glitches are kept to a minimum BUT there’s a big problem to avoid. There’s a high-end graphics option in-game that will absolutely tank the game’s performance on the Steam Deck so keep it off and run with some standard settings instead.
