NBA 2K25 Best The W Build Guide (Big)

Published on:

This NBA 2K25 Best the W build guide will focus on the bigs. 2K has made progress with the WNBA but the game’s WNBA career mode is still very limited and forces you to stick to a single template when building your player. Because of that fine-tuning the physical stats and picking the right archetype can go a long way to succeeding in the game. NBA 2K25 has been released to mixed reviews from the folks over on Steam.

NBA 2K25 Best The W Build for Bigs

I always find it easier to focus on playing inside the arc as a big, the stretch big stuff is fine but dominating rebounds and on defence is the best way to rack up high teammate grades and improve in the fastest fashion.

For that reason, when selecting your archetype go with one that prioritises finishing at the rim and rebounding. A paint beast ot defensive anchor should suffice.

Where you can really make your moves is with the physical attributes. I find that the way the game flows when playing in The W career mode is kind of different, one where a height advantage and physicality make a huge difference.

Go to 6foot8 at a minimum and a wingspan of over 7 foot. In my experience, this should make you almost unguardable in the paint as your high layup can go over just about any defender. You may have trouble if Liz Cambage spawns back in or if Brittney Griner is on form but all other bigs should be defensively liable against this setup.

While this build does lack the passing, 3-point, or dribbling capabilities to be an all-action player, it should work for those of us that like to dominate the paint and score efficient buckets inside the area. In addition, you should be able to pull down a lot of rebounds to prop up your stats and allow for easy second chance buckets.

Setting screens should also allow for solid pick and roll opportunities which is why the height sweet spot is roughly 6’8″ as going too tall will reduce your speed when cutting to the basket.
