Coral Island Sunflower Sea Star Tips
The Sunflower Sea Star has some restrictions on when you can find it. As a seasonal catch it can only be caught in Spring and Summer so searching for it after that is fruitless. It can be caught at any time of the day which is a positive as you have as much time as needed in Spring and Summer to try and find one.
This is a critter that can be found via diving and can be caught either with a net or critter trap. You have to dive at the right depth which is 50-60 metres depth. This level is found in the latter areas known as Lima Pulu.
Within Lima Pulu there are a few different zones with Zone 1 being the best place to look for a Sunflower Sea Star, the other zone to check is Zone 5 but that isn’t a guarantee and usually Zone 1 where you enter is the best spot for them.
If you have no luck seeing one during your time diving then placing traps in Zone 1 could at least boost your chances of getting a Sunflower Sea Star after the fact.
You’ll only need to catch one for the game as things stand as it is needed for an offering. None of the NPCs like it as a gift and it doesn’t sell for very much at the shops so if you can get lucky and grab one then you’ll never need to think of them again.
