This Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Secret Ending guide will explain how to unlock the secret ending for this version of the game. This is largely done for the achievement collectors as the game lets you watch the ending regardless in the Theatre but completionists need to know what to do. The 1.5 and 2.5 Remix is available on Steam for those wanting a dual KH experience.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Secret Ending Walkthrough

There are three different difficulties in the game, two of which have their own specific requirements for unlocking the secret ending:

Beginner Mode – The easiest mode does not allow you to unlock the secret ending, you have to make it through the game on one of the higher tiers
Standard Mode – In this mode you have to seal every Keyhole, find all 99 puppies and then beat the game in order to get the secret ending
Proud Mode – On this one, you’ll have to finish the Hades Cup and seal every keyhole before beating the game. This will unlock the secret ending

As I said earlier, this is mainly for the Achievement hunters or those looking for a challenge as the theatre mode in Remix allows you to watch both endings, one labelled Another Side, Another Story and (Deep Dive) no matter what difficulty you beat the game on.

Differences

The secret ending is really just a teaser for a second game, which you’ve likely played by now anyway. The two different secret endings aren’t very different but one seems a bit longer than the other. Other than that, there isn’t much to get from this nowadays, at the time it was a special teaser for an unreleased game but now it’s just a neat achievement to get.
