Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Fury Stone Tips

Fury Stones are exclusive to the 1.5 release and are a synthesis ingredient. They are only dropped by one type of enemy which makes stocking up on them difficult. The enemy in question is a Gigas Shadow Heartless which is only available in the Wonderland level.

These are a rare spawn due to the fact that they’re big and tough it’s more likely that you’ll spend your time defeating smaller enemies who spawn in more regularly.

The key to getting these enemies to spawn in is to go from room to room and leave if there are no enemies. If there are smaller enemies then killing them increases the chances of a bigger enemy spawning in. If you kill some enemies and head back to the Bizzare Room (where the Gigas spawns) then there’s a better chance the Gigas will be found in this room.

The next problem is getting the Fury Stone drop. They aren’t a guarantee even from the Gigas. After all this time, most players have figured out an approximate drop rate and as you’d imagine your chances of getting one increases the more enemies you have.

Sadly, it can take 7 Gigas before you’re guaranteed a drop, anything before that is a dice roll that depends on RNG. It isn’t until there’s three enemies that you even have a slim chance of getting a Fury Stone to drop.

Prepare to spend a good bit of time on this, it is entirely reliant on getting lucky. One Reddit User has previously claimed to have a route that guarantees a Gigas spawn in Bizzare Room if you’d like to try that method instead. Getting the Gigas is just part one of the luck but it would cut out a significant amount of your playing time.
