Valheim Lox Walkthrough

The Lox can be found in the Plains Biome and tend to travel in a herd. They’re pretty big creatures so they’re impossible to miss especially since they tend to travel in groups.

As with a lot of the more aggressive creatures, to tame a Lox you have to sneak up on it and drop its preferred foods. For the Lox, this is Cloudberries and Cloudberries only. Once it eats enough of the berries you’ve dropped it will be tamed.

The Lox can drop Lox Meat and pelts for you to collect which can be useful for players. Breeding Loxes requires a large and spacious pen as well as happy, well-fed Loxes.

To mount a Lox and use it for transport you’ll have to craft a mount using:

  • 20 Linen Thread
  • 15 Black Metal
  • 10 Leather Scrap
