Valheim Boar Walkthrough

Boars are usually located in the Meadows Biome. Finding them can be fairly RNG-dependent as they won’t spawn in specific locations unless you find a Boar Runestone. These mark spots where there will be entire flocks of boar so mark these on your map as you find them.

To tame the boar, you’ll have to sneak up on it and drop either carrots or red mushrooms which will calm them down. From here you have the difficulty of moving them to a pen so they don’t wander off. They are tough to move unless they begin to chase you.

You can then breed Boars through the same methods as everything else, have more than one, keep them well fed, and make sure there’s enough space in the enclosure.

Boar will drop useful items like meat and leather scraps.
