So, as of this writing, this Early Access title does not actually give the player the ability to fast travel. This is a feature that may be added closer to the time of the full release but there has been no official confirmation from the developers about whether or not they intend on introducing this mechanic to the game.

Heads have certainly dropped at that news as traversing a map is an activity that no video game enjoyer tends to be captivated by, thankfully, there is one slight “exploit” that can act as a half-Fast Travel if you just need to get back to your home base as quickly as possible.

How to “Fast Travel” in Sengoku Dynasty

If you’ve made a trek out to get resources and want to return to your currently allocated home you do have the option of the “Respawn” setting. This takes you right back to your home and makes you sleep the day away, almost as if you’d been taken down in battle. It doesn’t work perfectly so it isn’t exactly the best option but it does strike me as a sort of speedrunning skip that shortens your journeys.

Since you can set your home to any of the villages there is nothing to stop you from setting your home to any one of these and “travelling” there via the respawn setting to cut down on travelling time between spots.

I reiterate that this IS NOT a perfect option and will require you to work around the forced sleep and any other issues that arise but as of this writing, it is the only available method to cut out some of the travelling.
