Extreme Biome Makeover Guide

You do need to unlock Vanellope before this quest becomes available at all. Upon getting her to friendship Level 2 you will be able to start the Extreme Biome Makeover quest to further her personal storyline.

Step 1

The first request you’re given is to plant 10 candy seeds. Plant all 10, preferably in the one area, and water them. They take one minute to grow after being watered although there are elixirs you can use to speed this up further if you’re impatient.

Step 2

Harvest the crops and bring them to Vanellope to proceed to the next phase of the quest.

Step 3

You will be given Candy Cane Trees, giant lollipops, and pavements to use with the explicit instruction to decorate near Vanellope’s house. Plant the following near her house:

  • 50 Sugar Cookie Pavements
  • 5 Candy Cane Trees
  • 5 Giant Lollipops

Once this is done you can return to Vanellope for her next instruction.

Step 4

You’ll be tasked with cooking up (literally) the parts to make a kart for Vanellope to race in. You will be provided with some ingredients but will have to gather:

  • 6 Wheat
  • 5 Sugarcane
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Butter
  • 1 Milk

Wheat, if needed, can be purchased from Goofy in Peaceful Meadow. Sugarcane can be bought from Goofy in Dazzle Beach. The other three are sold in Remy’s Kitchen. These ingredients are split across three seperate recipes which will make up the parts of the racer.

Step 5

Despite your cooking, there is more to accrue before Vanellope can finish building a kart. Go to Wall-E’s house and look in the corners for glowing stars that indicate batteries and electronics that can be useful. You’ll have to ask villagers at random for glue until someone has it before finishing up by getting inedible frosting from Remy.

Once all of this is done bring everything back to Vanellope and complete the quest.
