Course

Imola is a well-known track for a variety of reasons. It’s a track that flows really well and can be done at a fast pace by skilled drivers who can keep their speed through turns. Making the most of this will no doubt prove to be the difference in F1 23.

Aerodynamics

Leave the aerodynamics lower so you can make use of your top speed. You can’t go to the extreme and ignore downforce but you’ll only need about 20 points for each section to have enough to manage turns.

Transmission

Set the on-throttle differential higher than normal to deal with the high-speed turns on this course.

Suspension Geometry

Go for a maximum camber angle setup to deal with the high-speed corners you’ll face at Imola.

Suspension

Soft suspension is the recommendation for this track. It can be quite the bumpy ride so stiff suspension would run the risk of bumping the car, keeping it soft should let you glide over the kerbs on the track.

Brakes

Go with a balanced braking setup for this race. There is a mix of short-zones and long-zones so sticking in the middle will help you navigate the track in the most optimal fashion.

Tyres

Tyre wear isn’t a big issue at Imola which means you can go with a low pressure setup.
