F1 23 Monaco Setup Walkthrough
Circuit
The Monaco track is one of the most punishing in the entire game. It’s got narrow streets, not many speed sections, tough turns, and is a nightmare to overtake in. You’ll need to be at your best to make it out of this one with any positive result.
Areodynamics
Set your downforce to the absolute maximum. This does take some speed away but that’s not important for Monaco, downforce will help you control the car better on tough turns which is the most important thing for this race.
Transmission
Keep the on-throttle setting low for this race. This should help you deal with the turns a bit better.
Suspension Geometry
High camber angle and absolutely no toe is the setup of choice for Monaco. You don’t want any drag on a track this punishing which is why we reduce toe completely.
Suspension
Stiffen the front suspension to deal with corners head-on. The back-end can be looser but you absolutely have to stiffen the front option if you want to make headway on this track.
Brakes
Maximum brake pressure is the best way to go, unsurprisingly, given how much you’ll be using them on this track. Keep braking bias around the midway point with a slight, and I mean slight, front bias of maybe 5%.
Tyres
The Monaco track is tough on tyres so keep the pressure low. This does dent your top speed a bit but will make controlling the heat and wear of the tyres a little bit easier.
