NBA 2K23 Tips: Best Shooting Guard Build (PS5)

Published on:

With another new NBA 2K game comes another mad dash to create the best build possible to dominate the court. In NBA 2K22 I dished out advice to build the best center and I’ve already taken a stab at making a paint beast center build for NBA 2K23 and a game-conquering Point Guard. In this article, however, I will be moving my attention to the lesser appreciated Shooting Guard spot. What is the best Shooting Guard build on PS5? let’s take a look

NBA 2K23 Best Shooting Guard Build on PS5

Your play style may vary at the 2 spot and some people may prefer to be a number 2 scorer in the vein of Cade Cunningham. But for my shooting guard build, I prefer to be a 3-point sniper, with some ability to drive inside, who can space the floor and bail a team out in key moments.

Body

Height: 6 Foot 6

Weight: 208 pounds

Wingspan: 6 foot 10

Finishing

Close Shot: 52

Driving Layup: 80

Driving Dunk: 25

Standing Dunk: 25

Post Control: 25

Shooting

Mid-Range: 77

Three-Point: 92

Free Throw: 72

Playmaking

Pass Accuracy: 65

Ball Handle: 93

Speed With Ball: 88

Depending on how you intend to play you can add some points to pass accuracy to be more of a playmaker but I prefer the speed and handling boost to drive inside when opportunities present themselves.

Defense/Rebounding

Interior Defense: 25

Perimeter Defense: 91

Steal: 90

Block: 25

Offensive Rebound: 25

Defensive Rebound: 53

Physicals

Speed: 85

Acceleration: 85

Strength: 57

Vertical: 74

Stamina: 92

I can’t tell you how to play but with this build and the right badges you should be able to be the Desmond Bane to someone’s Ja Morant on the court.
