NBA 2K23 Tips: Best Center Build (PS5)

Published on:

With another new NBA 2K game comes another mad dash to create the best build possible to dominate the court. In NBA 2K22 I dished out advice to build the best center and it’s only fitting to do the same for NBA 2K23. In this article, I’ll run through all the details needed to make the best Center build on PS5.

NBA 2K23 Best Center Build on PS5

At the center position, I love to be a glass-eating, dominant inside presence who can provide an impact on both offense and defense. I understand that some may prefer a build that’ll emphasize three-point shooting but I’m a sucker for a monstrous paint presence that turns me into Giannis Antetekounmpo the second.

Body Settings

Height: 7 foot

Weight: 238 Pounds

Wingspan: 7 Foot 10

The physical aspects of 2K have been reduced a lot over the years so slimming down and getting a speed/agility boost is worth losing out to a few of the more muscular centers in the league.

Standing Dunk: 91

Post Control: 80

Shooting

Three-Point: 54

Free Throw: 82

Note: 3-point and free throw can be switched but I tend to get more free throws than 3 attempts through my style of play

Playmaking

You can really do anything here since this is such a small part of playing as a center but I tend to emphasize speed with ball.

Defense/Rebounding

Interior Defense: 73

Perimeter Defense: 26

Steal: 55

Block: 94

Offensive Rebound: 88

Defensive Rebound: 90

Physicals

That’s Not All

While this may be the best Center build possible and should allow you to dominate the floor with ease, it all comes down to how well you can hone your style of play and how effective your badge use is.
