Isabella Damm

Currently playing for Brondby, Damm has the highest potential rating of any young goalkeeper in the women’s game. There is only one talent on her level but Damm coming through Brondby is a big seal of approval. She is just 17 and should be easy enough to pick up if you’re a top women’s team.

Alyssa Van de Poel

The only other goalkeeper with a similar ceiling to Damm, Belgian teenager Van de Poel plays for Anderlecht and at just 16 has a lot of room to grow. She’s another who could be easier to poach and with the right development pathway could be your premier shot-stopper for over a decade.

Feerine Belhadj

OL Lyon have been a dynasty in women’s football for a reason. Their development of talent is second-to-none and Belhadj appears to be their next great academy product. She’s been capped by France at youth level and already made some appearances for the Lyon senior team.

Ella-Maria Ervasti

The rest of Europe is well-represented, one of the really great insights from the women’s DB, as FC Nordsjaelland’s shot-stopper is another top prospect. She is just 17 but has the same potential as Belhadj. She’s another project who’d take time to develop.

Alberte Vingum Andersen

A 20-year-old Dane, Andersen is one of the older wonderkids on the list but she is likely closer to her full potential than the others. Playing for HB Koge, she’s one who can be snapped up by any major team and honed into a top-tier shot-stopper.
