Brotato Streamer Build Tips
Character Type
The Streamer’s mains telling point is the ability to gain materials by standing still, for every second you’re still you gain 3% on materials, this is to offset the fact that money dropped from enemies is halved. There’s an armour buff for every structure placed down as well while speed and damage are cut the more you hoard materials. It is quite an interesting challenge to take on that really requires some luck alongside strong planning.
Upgrades
For this one you can split the upgrades across stat groups, some goes to dodge, a small bit can go to life steal to keep you hanging on at key moments, engineering gets some, max HP, HP Regen, Luck, and Harvesting can round it out. This build needs a little bit of everything to be a success.
Weapons
Wrenches and Screwdrivers are the ideal. These aren’t strong weapons on their own but they do let you place down turrets and mines. The turrets are the big focus for this build, getting a strong safety net of turrets that can hold off most enemies is key to survival, the mines are then thrown down to deal with any that may break through the turret line.
Items
There’s some useful items like the different turrets, Incendiary might be the most effective but the others are useful to have. A pencil which boost engineering, and the Piggy Bank which boosts material at the start of the round.
As you approach the late game you’ll want to focus more on trying to get the Exoskeleton, regen potions, a Robot Arm, and a Medikit with the focus shifting to HP retention.
If you can get it, Esty’s Couch can be a game changer, this improves HP regeneration for each negative 1% speed you have, and as we know this build loses speed when it has higher material amounts so standing still and losing speed to gain money could also lead to a big HP regeneration bump.
