Fernando Alonso/Lewis Hamilton
To lead your team you’ll want someone who is on par with the excellence of Max Verstappen. In Alonso or Hamilton you have a 90 overall driver who can compete at the top while you develop another driver though in-race experience who can eventually take the reigns as the number one option.
They are pretty even but have some individual strengths, Hamilton is a “smarter” driver according to his ratings with stronger braking and defensive instincts which can make the most of a lesser car. Alonso meanwhile is an accurate and controlled driver who offers consistency.
Andrea Kimi Antonelli
Turning our attention tot he future of your team we have a 17-year-old Formula 2 driver who is part of the Mercedes system. Mercedes are sure to give him a seat before long so beat them to the punch and you could have a top prospect on your hands.
His stats are still in the 60s or low 70s so there’s a lot of time to train him up to fit your car, although his solid reaction time already makes him a useful drive defensively.
Oliver Bearman
From the Ferrari system we have 18-year-old Bearman. He has some incredible stats off bat with an 82 reaction and 81 control rating. He’s one of the top drivers in the F2 level overall wise and will be tearing it up for Ferrari in the future.
Enzo Fittipaldi
This is one of the more interesting punts you can take for my money. At 23-years-old Fittipaldi is older than a lot of his colleagues but he’s got some stats that make him an intriguing second driver. Namely his smoothness, ability to overtake, and defensive abilities.
Out of all F2 drivers in the game he’s the leader in 4 different statistics. If you can round out the rough edged of his less than stellar cornering and braking abilities then you may have a serious driver on your hands.
