Aska Fiber Tips
Fiber is pretty useful in this game as it is used a lot in crafting, specifically for tools and other items. It is also used in the creation of rope which is in itself an important crafting material. Fiber is therefore something you’ll need to stock up on throughout a playthrough.
Luckily, there’s a few ways to go about getting some in Aska. It can be grown at a farm if you’ve gotten that far and can wait for a harvest. It is available for planting in every season which means you can stock up on it year-round.
Another way to get some is by harvesting wild Flax plants, these can provide you with some Fiber while you’re waiting for harvests or if you’re holding off on planting some.
In addition, if there’s no plants around and your farm isn’t ready yet you can get even more fiber by breaking down bark. Bark is gained by chopping down trees with each tree dropping about 4 pieces, you can also get it by breaking up longer sticks or logs on the ground. Bark can either be broken down on the ground or dismantled in your inventory to get some Fiber.
The last way, and certainly the more interesting one is by killing Wisps on the beach. They will drop some Fibre for you any time you need.
Fiber is essential to playing Aska and as such, the developers have given players a variety of ways to collect some. Make sure to stock up anytime you can as you can never have too much of the basic raw materials these games tend to provide.
